General Description

Bottom half of a leaf, the top half of which is now bound into Drexel 4185. (A thin strip is missing between the two halves, presumably trimmed after they were separated.) The facing page from the original book is part of the Wells fragments. These and related fragments are brought together in a 'virtual manuscript' here.

Copied by a single scribe. Copied in England. Acquired by Fitzwilliam Museum from antiquarian bookselling firm of Messrs. Ellis, London, in 1936; probably owned in 19th century by the antiquarian Edward F. Rimbault.
