General Description

A Tenor partbook consisting ofByrd's Cantiones 1589, with 8 inserted pages at the end containing the Tenor of 9 anonymous untexted pieces in 4 parts. The scribe appears to be John Merro. An unnumbered piece after the 5th is a transposed version of the last one.
