Copied by Netherlands court scribe Petrus Alamire (KellJ). Warmington identifies 3 music copyists (scribes H4, I1 and I2) and two text copyists (scribes Y and Z). Copied in Brussels/Mechlin; belongs to Netherlands court complex (KellJ). Blank folios: 17', 31'-32, 42', 61'-62, 85'-86, 105'-106, 122'.

Sterndale-Bennett pasted inside cover. Copied by Netherlands court scribe Petrus Alamire (KellJ). Miniatures and borders illuminated in Ghent-Bruges style; painted initials and inked calligraphic initials. All of the miniatures have been cut out of the manuscript; some borders and initials have also been removed. Because of mutilations, portions of all Kyries and of some other sections are missing.
