Only ff. 260-261 contain music, and are apparently part of a large quarto chansonnier from Mechelen. Copied by Netherlands court scribe B (= Martin Bourgeois?). Copied in Brussels/ Mechlin; belongs to Netherlands court complex (KellJ). Owned by the antiquarian Elias Ashmole (1617-92); bequeathed to Oxford University in 1677. Housed in Ashmolean Museum 1683-1860, then transferred to Bodleian Library.

Only ff. 260-261 (parchment, 346 x 211) contain music: apparently the only surviving remnants of a choirbook copied by Netherlands court scribe B (= Martin Bourgeois?; see general index for other manuscripts copied by the same scribe).
