Main hand is that of Netherlands court scribe Petrus Alamire (KellJ); however Warmington instead distinguishes the music/text scribe F, with additional music copied by scribe H3 and text by scribe Y (KellmanTO). Copied in Brussels/Mechlin; belongs to Netherlands court complex (KellJ). Probably intended for Henry VIII, King of England, and his wife, Catherine of Aragon, but came instead to Munich, either along with MunBS 6, MunBS 7, and MunBS 34, for presentation to Wilhelm IV, Duke of Bavaria (1493-1550), or at a later date. If owned by Wilhelm IV, manuscript acquired by Bayerische Staatsbibliothek as part of ducal court library.
