A Tenor partbook from a set originally of seven volumes. Music copied by a single scribe, employed by Edward Paston (1550-1630) of Norfolk, a country gentleman and collector of music. Presented to Madrigal Society in 1832 by the collector Stephen Groombridge; placed on permanent deposit at British Museum in 1953.
