General Description

Apparently the only surviving remnants of a liturgical choirbook with original folio size of c. 450 x 310. Copied by a single scribe. Of English origin; perhaps copied in Warwickshire. Present fragments apparently removed from original context and used as binding material, possibly for estate documents of Willoughby de Broke family of Warwickshire. Line of ownership conceivably extends back to Richard Verney (1621-1711), 1st Lord Willoughby de Broke. Willoughby de Broke family collection deposited in present location after World War I.
