XVIe s. 38ff. + 2ff. limin. n. ch. dont 1 en parchemin. Papier, 140 x 207 mm. Foliotation moderne. Notation mesurée blanche. 4 portées par p. Initiales ornées or, rouge et bleu jusqu'au f. 22 v. Au f. 1 v., texte en caractères or. Reliure soie rose restaurée. (Origine: MED PALAT BIBL CAES)

Ce ms. florentin a été compilé, par un seul scribe semble-t-il, au début du XVIe s., le terminus post quem pouvant être fixé grâce au Canto di lanzi pellegrini (no 11) où il est fait allusion au voyage à Rome des pèlerins florentins pour l'année jubilaire en 1500 (GhisiCC, 206). On lit au 2ef. limin: «Questo chanzoniere è della Marietta filiuola di Franc[esc]o Pugi», notaire à Florence, ce qui contribue à situer encore plus vraisemblablement la copie du ms. dans cette ville.
