The main scribe was Nicholas Ausquier, a singer and copyist at St. Peter's Basilica, Rome (see ReynoldsSP for documentation of his activity shown in payment records). Five additional scribes, including Egidius Crispini, Johannes Tarentinus, and possibly David Fornant or Winochus de Oudenorde (ReynoldsM). Copied in Rome, for use at St. Peter's Basilica. Main corpus probably copied from two earlier (ca. 1458-63) manuscripts which were subsequently discarded (ReynoldsSP). Originally 268 folios or more.

RISM Description
RISM BIV/5
XVe s. 249ff. Parchemin, 363X252 mm.
