General Description

A Tenor partbook from a set of five volumes. Music, text incipits, and titles copied by a single scribe, identified by Rifkin & Fallows as Bernard Rem, who also wrote MunU 328-31, VienNB Mus. 18745, and ZürZ 438; 6 pieces copied by a second scribe who also copied the last piece in Pal.Lat.1976-1979 and much of the manuscript portion of Munich Art.401 (RifMichel).

Repertoriai connections (39 concordances) with MunU 328-31. Eighteen Senfl pieces unique to this source; some probably composed for Duke Albert of Prussia (BenteNW). Probably copied in Augsburg (StaeLW) or Munich (BenteNW). Once owned by Fugger family of Augsburg (NowakM). Fugger library purchased by Emperor Ferdinand III and brought to Vienna in 1656.
