RISM Description
RISM
XVIe s. (1518). 209ff. Papier, 295 x 210 mm.
[I, IIv] sont blancs. Notation mesurée blanche. 10 portées par p. Aux ff. Umin.

The works of the composer "Renaldo" have been mistakenly attributed to the 14th century composer "Reynaldus". For details on Renaldo's life, I would refer to Robert Nosow's article "The Dating and Provenance of Bologna... Q19," published in the Journal of Musicology in 1991. (An additional piece by Renaldo is in Panc. 27, also misattributed.) The DIAMM inventories have now been updated to show the correct composer.

Notified that ff. 131v–141r is the "Missa Sine nomine" by Renaldo, not "Miserere Mei Deus" (as previously stated); and ff. 176v–185r is the "Missa Benedictus Dominus Deus" by Renaldo
