Pars
Copied as a motet in 2 partes in F-CA Ms 125-8 (explicitly making "Et subveni" the Secunda pars) and in the Barcelona Songbook; but as a motet in 3 partes in Capp Sist 15. As a 3-part motet the first is twice the length of the second, and with a sharp change in approach following a section in homophony halfway through. The motet is therefore divided into 3 partes in DIAMM, following Capp Sist 15, rather than 2 partes following Cambrai and Barcelona. Note that the Florence ms also puts the motet into 2 partes but splits the music at a different place from Cambrai and Barcelona, in the middle of what is here designated the 2a pars, to make a piece with 2 partes of roughly equal length.
