Due to removal of 10-15 original folios at end, last Mass is fragment only (beginning of Kyrie on f. 224'); f. 1' mutilated (initial and border decoration cut out).
Binding
Covers of leather over boards, with inscription 'Liber Choralis' stamped in gold on spine, may date from 19th century, or may be 19th-century restorations of original covers. (Similar covers also found on ModE M.1.2, ModE M.1.11-2, and ModE X.1.11).

Ce 3e ms. géant pour grands choeurs a été copié aussi pour les Este à Ferrare, très probablement à l'époque où Martini était au service d'Ercole Io (ca. 1471 à 1492) car il domine nettement sur les autres musiciens avec 8 compositions dans le ms.
