RISM B/IV 4: 14./15. Jh.; 73 Blätter Pergament, 190 x 140 mm. Moderne Foliierung von f. 1-73. - Einband: 19. Jh.; rotbrauner Ganzlederband mit Goldfassung und Wappen Pius' IX.

Diese Handschrift englischer Herkunft, des späten 14. Jh., enthält eine Sammlung musiktheoretischer Traktate (Inhalt siehe bei Smits van Waesberghe, vergleiche Literatur). Die letzten 2 Blätter sind (nachträglich ?) angeheftet. Auf f. 72v stehen 7, auf f. 73r 2 Fünfliniensysteme mit schwarzer Mensuralnotation des frühen 15. Jh. Es handelt sich um eine kleine Gruppe von sog. Squares des englischen 15. Jh.

Late 14th century (treatises); early 15th century (tenors). Copied in England. Owned in 17th century by Christina, Queen of Sweden (1626-89); passed to present library ca. 1689-91.
