General Description

Composite of two unrelated manuscripts (defined by ff. 1-25 and ff. 26-31) bound together in 17th century. Ff. 1-25 contain Melos Contemplativorum of Richard Rolle of Hampole; ff. 26-31 apparently the only surviving remnants of a liturgical music manuscript. No music on f. 26, which may therefore have been an endleaf to the first ms rather than the first leaf of the second ms? Six Kyries in score format; other pieces in choirbook format. Copied by one main scribe and five additional scribes (SeamanM). Copied in England. Now owned by Lincoln College, Oxford, but deposited in Bodleian Library.
