The fragment consists of portions of two separate Credos by Damett, not here ascribed. The side with the initial P is the verso, the other the recto.
The recto corresponds to Old Hall f. 61r (OH no.72), and the notation is virtually identical: the fifth note on the top line is a minima where OH has a semibrevis, the initial minima of 'fa[ctus est]' appears to have been erased, and the two semibreves of 'fi[lio simul adoratur]' are written as separate notes where OH has a ligature cum opposita proprietate.
The verso corresponds to Old Hall f. 79v (OH no.93), and the notation is identical but for the last line of music (partially cut off), where the fourth and fifth notes are red in OH while black stems are visible here, and the sixth note after the new mensuration signature is written as a B where OH has A.
Different voice-parts for both of these pieces are found on the fragment University College 192, f. 27a. However, it is not immediately clear how the two fragments relate to one another. If they both come from the same manuscript, then they should both be part of the same leaf if both pieces are to be performable, yet both fragments appear to be taken from the upper part of a leaf.
