A Tenor partbook from a set of five volumes. Copied by one scribe, probably Melchior Kugelmann. Twelve of the pieces are dedicatory works for various members of the Danish court at Copenhagen and the Prussian court at Königsberg. Probably copied at the Danish court in Copenhagen, for Princess Dorothea, daughter of Frederick I and sister to Christian III, who married Duke Albert of Prussia in 1525. The manuscript was once in the Herzogliche Bibliothek at Wolfenbüttel; it later belonged to the French scholar F. L. Perne (1772-1832), and then to F. J. Fétis (it bore the number '1433' in the catalogue of his library). The Bibliothèque Royale acquired the manuscript from the Fétis collection.
