General Description

A later hand added six single-voice litanies on ff. 179'-180'.Three (ff. 179'-180) are monophonic; the others (f. 180'), marked 'Faburdon,' are second voices for chants on ff. 121'-122' (TrowF). The name 'William Dundy' at bottom of f. 180' evidently refers to the scribe, and perhaps composer, of the added litanies. Copied in England. Came to Lambeth Palace Library in early 17th century. Collection transferred to Cambridge in 1648; returned to Lambeth Palace in 1664.
