Copying of Part II began at back of book, working toward middle; music of Part II upside down in relation to that of Part I; all of Part II and some additions in Part I date from the 18th century. (Part II is not included in this inventory.) Main layer copied by Alexander Shaw, who also wrote most of LonBL 30479 and made additions in DurC C11, DurC C12, DurC C13, and Contratenor II Decani book of DurC C2; later additions by John White, Robert Softley and several unidentified scribes (Brian Crosby). Copied in Durham, for use by cathedral choir.
