Foliotation moderne: 1-17 et foliotation ancienne: 17-115. les ff. 12 à 15 mq.; les ff. 1, 65v, 66, 115v sont blancs; les ch. 93 et 107 omis dans la foliotation, le f. 76 chiffré 2 fois. Notation mesurée blanche. 13 portées par p. Ce ms., copié de plusieurs mains au début du XVIe s., figure dans un répertoire établi à S. Petronio en 1558. Il avait donc été copié avant cette date pour l'usage de cette église. On reconnaît la main de Spataro aux ff. lv-11, 16v-26, 59v-71, 76v-79, 106v-108 (Jeppesen).
Dans le dépouillement suivant, on a bloqué les différents versets d'un même hymne sous un même nom d'auteur. Pour les hymnes anonymes et dans le cas de divergences graves dans la musique, on a numéroté òis, ter.

The manuscript has been restored and rebound in modern cloth covers. No index. About three-fourths of the manuscript was copied by Giovanni Spataro and one other scribe; as many as ten additional scribal hands also appear. Watermarks from Bologna or Reggio Emilia mills, resembling Briquet #11924-5, 11660-1, and 11715.
