The scribe who wrote ff. ll'-14 also copied ff. 130'-131 and ff. 138'-139 in BolSP 31; and the scribe who wrote ff. 54'-57 also wrote the second half of BolSP 30. Copied in Bologna, for use at Church of San Petronio.

Pointed out that the attribution of "Et exultavit spiritus meus" (from Magnificat Quarti Toni) on fols. 59v–62r to Gacian Reyneau (as previously stated in the DIAMM inventory) seems unlikely, given the dates of this source and those of Gacian Reyneau. Upon further investigation, the inventory of A46 in Tirro's Renaissance Musical Sources (1986) pointed to a concordance in Bologna Q 19, 193v, there ascribed to 'Fr. Reynaldus'.
