A Discantus partbook from an incomplete set of four volumes. Copied by Wolfgang Figulus(?), Abraham Cummer, and others. Copied at the Fürstenschule St. Afra in Meissen, under the direction of Wolfgang Figulus. Following Figulus' death (after 1588), the manuscript went to his son-in-law, Friedrich Birck, cantor at the Fürstenschule St. Augustin in Grimma from 1591 until his death in 1621. After Birck's death, his widow sold the manuscript to the Grimma Fürstenschule; in 1890 it was deposited in the library at Dresden.
