General Description

Originally part of same manuscript as PadU 1106, 1225, and 1283 (FischN); later used as flyleaves for book Manipulis florum Thome de Hibernia, but now preserved separately. Copied by Frater Rolandus Monachus (scribal concordance with PadU 1106 and 1225, signed by Rolandus). Copied at St. Giustina Benedictine Abbey in Padua. Folios removed from original context and used as flyleaves during first half of 15th century. Remained at St. Giustina until Napoleonic dissolution of the monasteries (1797), then taken to Paris. Later returned to Padua; now housed in Biblioteca Universitaria.

3 folios, one bifolio, one single. 10 red 5-line staves per page. Filed under 'Frammenti musicali'.

RISM B/IV 4: 15. Jh.; 3 Blätter Pergament, 278 x 208 mm. Je Seite 10 rote Fünfliniensysteme mit schwarzer Mensuralnotation- Heute sind sie losgelöst und werden unter Frammenti musicali aufbewahrt.

Die drei vermutlich im frühen 15. Jh. geschriebenen Blätter (Doppelblatt und Einzelblatt) dienten als Deck- beziehungsweise Vorsatzblätter der aus S. Giustina (Padua) stammenden Handschrift des 15. Jh. mit dem Manipulus florum Thome de Hibernia (altes Inventar Nr. 301). Sie gehörten vielleicht zur gleichen Handschrift wie die Fragmente I-Pu1106, I-Pu1225 und I-Pu1283. Vom Doppelblatt ist f. 1r leer, f. 2r völlig verblaßt. Das Einzelblatt zeigt nur den Abklatsch von f. 2v des Doppelblatt (f. 1v leer).

Early 15th century (RISM). Copied at St. Giustina Benedictine Abbey in Padua. Folios removed from original context and used as flyleaves during first half of 15th century.
