Score notation is only used for nos. 13, 19 and 20.

The polyphony on item XXVI consists of no less then 10 folios of a 14th century motet manuscript meas. 321 x 215 mm. when complete. On f. 82, for instance, 30-50 mm. of the page are missing on the right; even so, most pages are musically complete. This parchment codex contains all or parts of 15 motets, 4 conductus and 2 pieces in simple discant style which appear to be polyphonic introductions to lessons. The notation is Petronian and employs 11 red five-line staves per page. ONC 18 is a later addition, and already makes use of downward-tailed semibreves, while nos. 19 and 20 employing minims are later still. It would appear that f. 90-91 were originally blank, since f. 91v belongs to the corpus. There is an old foliation in red ink at t.m.r., here given in brackets in Roman numerals, while the new arabic foliation is in pencil at t.r.r. The script is typical of English motet manuscripts and employs red-blue or blue-red initials. The script of no. 18 is not as heavy as that of the corpus, and the initials are omitted. The fragments are misbound, so that f. 82-83 should fit between the two sets of bifolios f. 84-87 and 88-91. Score notation is only used for nos. 13, 19 and 20. The modern dull brown cloth binding dates from 1908.
