General Description

A Bassus partbook from a set originally of 6 volumes. Main layer in three sections (6-voice, 5-voice, and 4-voice works, respectively). Copied by one main scribe, with later additions by six additional hands. Probably copied in Augsburg. Once owned by Benedictine monastery of Sts. Ulrich and Afra, Augsburg (StaeMI).
