A Discantus partbook from a set of four volumes. First and second series in each book separated by section of folios with blank staves only; copying of second series began at back of each book, working toward middle. First series copied by one main scribe; #118-119 added by a different scribe, who also wrote #1-19 of second series (#17-19 apparently copied at a different time than #1-16). Last three pieces of second series are later additions by two other scribes. Many pieces have text incipits or titles only. Of south German origin. Owned in late 16th and first half of 17th century by Egenolf and Anton von Schermar of Ulm; von Schermar collection later deposited in Münster Bibliothek, Ulm.
