RISM B/IV 5: XVIe s. 28ff. Papier, 575x435 mm. Foliotation ancienne en haut à dr. des ff. Le f. 12v est blanc; les ff. 13 à 38, 44 à 48, 50 à 61, 69 mq. Notation mesurée blanche. 13 portées par p. Au f.l, Table du ms. de la main de Spataro. Reliure originale de carton vert.

Ce ms., très vraisemblablement écrit par Giovanni Spataro, semble bien correspondre à l'un des 5 mss, que, par son testament de 1527, il avait légué à S. Petronio «per l'uxo dei choro de la predicta eclesia et dei divino officio». On peut donc le dater autour de 1520, date que ne contredit pas le répertoire avec les 4 compositeurs qui ont pu être identifiés. 28 seul' des 73ff. d'origine sont conservés. D'après la Table, les pièces suivantes mq.:

28 paper folios of an original 73, 580 x 435. The manuscript is in very poor condition because of ink corrosion; the margins have been trimmed, with possible loss of some composers' names. Original ink foliation; ff. 13-38, 44-48, 50-61, and 69 are missing. Original covers of dark green parchment over cardboard. Original index on f. 1, listing all pieces, including those now missing. Copied by Giovanni Spataro. Many pieces are incomplete because of missing folios.
