A Discantus partbook from a set of three volumes. Copied by a single scribe, except for last three pieces, which are later additions in a different hand. Probably copied in Low Countries. Early owner was Marcus Weiser (1558-1614) of Augsburg, whose name appears on covers. In Augsburg Stadtbibliothek until 1807, then passed to Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in Munich.

Binding
Original covers of white parchment over cardboard, with modern plastic wrapper. Front and back covers have decorative borders in blue, red, and gold; lozenge motif in center of each cover, in blue, green, and gold, contains voice designation on front and name 'Marcus Weiser' on back.
