235 paper folios, 565 x 395. Modern pencil foliation, 1-235, by J. J. Maier. Original covers of discolored white leather over cardboard, stamped with ornamental designs. No index. Possibly copied by Ludwig Senfl (BenteNW); see general index for other manuscripts copied by the same scribe. Staff height 32. Inked calligraphic initials in black, red, blue, green, and plum; voice designations in red ink. Title page on f. 1 : "Liber Missarum insignium Quinque vocum Henrico Yzac Auctore." Coat of arms of Baden on f. 2 presumably associated with Maria Jacobäa (daughter of Philipp I, Margrave of Baden), who married Wilhelm IV, Duke of Bavaria, in 1522. No watermarks visible.

Ca. 1523-5 (BenteNW). Copied in Munich, for use by the court chapel of Wilhelm IV, Duke of Bavaria (1493-1550). Kept in Hofkapelle library until end of 18th century, then transferred to ducal court library, whose holdings formed foundation of present Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.
