An Altus partbook. Copied by Wolfgang Figulus and others. Copied in Leipzig, but later taken by Wolfgang Figulus to the Fürstenschule St. Afra in Meissen. Following Figulus' death (after 1588), the manuscript went to his son-in-law, Friedrich Birck, cantor at the Fürstenschule St. Augustin in Grimma from 1591 until his death in 1621. After Birck's death, his widow sold the manuscript to the Fürstenschule at Grimma; in 1890 it was deposited in the library at Dresden.
