General Description

Contains a tract with a detailed index of Diadema monachorum (15th century; old inventory No. 561). Music included only the two leaves originally used as cover sheets, they have been lifted and now appear as a flyleaf and endpaper pasted inside the original boards. They have the same format as the leaves of the main corpus and are rarely cropped.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 14./15. Jh.; 93 Blätter Pergament, 283 x 200 mm. Ohne Foliierung - Einband: 15. Jh.; mit dunkelbraunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel, Blindpressung.

Diese aus S. Giustina (Padua) stammende Handschrift enthält einen Traktat mit ausführlichem Register Diadema monachorum (15. Jh.; altes Inventar Nr. 561). Musik enthalten nur die beiden ursprünglich als Deckblätter verwendeten, dann als Vor- und Nachstoßblatt in die Deckel eingeklebten Pergamentblätter, die heute vom Einband gelöst sind. Sie haben dasselbe Format wie die Blätter des Hauptcorpus und sind kaum beschnitten. Je Seite 8 rote Sechsliniensysteme mit schwarzer Mensuralnotation. Notation und Inhalt lassen vermuten, daß dieses Fragment noch dem späten 14. Jh. angehört und keinesfalls aus derselben Handschrift stammt wie GB-Ob229, I-Pu684 und I-Pu1475.
