General Description

Recovered from Plantin bindings. Fragments apparently remnants of two or more different manuscripts. The source also includes an unfoliated leaf containing two settings of the Salve regina; English. Concordances (1) I-Fn Magl.XIX 112 bis 37v-38 and I-TRbc 90 305v-307 (nos 1025-6); (2) I-TRbc 90 324v-326v (no. 1038). Copied in Low Countries?

2 fragmentary paper bifolios, ca. 215 x 300-10, and 3 fragmentary paper folios, ca. 300 x 220, recovered from Plantin bindings. Fragments apparently remnants of two or more different manuscripts. Some music obliterated by trimming, but most remaining music legible. No original foliation remains.

Copied by four scribes. Staff height ca. 11-12 on bifolios, 20 on other folios.

A few small inked initials. No watermarks visible.

Second half of 15th century. Copied in Low Countries?

No literature. We thank Jaap van Benthem, who discovered AntP M6, AntP M18.13/1, AntP M18.13/2, AntP M18.13/3, and AntP R43.13, for bringing these sources to our attention. We also thank Kristine K. Forney for information on AntP M6, of which she is preparing a study.
