General Description

Despite the French texts, the sheet is probably of Italian origin. The paper served as a cover for a manuscript with the Latin Orationen Stefano da Pescia.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 14. Jh.; 1 Blatt Pergament, 362 x 261 mm. Je Seite 9 rote Sechsliniensysteme mit schwarzer und schwarzhohler Mensuralnotation des 14. Jh.

Das besonders auf der einen Seite (vermutlich recto) stark verblaßte Blatt ist trotz der französischen Texte wahrscheinlich italienischer Herkunft. Die Komponistennamen sind leider nur noch teilweise entzifferbar. Das Blatt diente als Deckblatt zu einer Handschrift mit lateinischen Orationen des Stefano da Pescia.
