XVIe s. 2 vol. Papier 210x280 mm. Foliotation moderne: C[antus], 1-46, le f. 1 est blanc; T[enor], 1-60, le f. 53 mq., les ff. 4, 54 et le dernier f. sont blancs. Notation mesurée blanche. 6 portées par p. Aux ff. 1-3v du T., table alphabétique des motets avec les noms d'auteurs et le nombre de vx. Aux ff. 1 du C et du T et au dernier f. du T, armes des Massimo. Capitales ornées à la plume. Reliures anciennes, cuir brun estampé de rinceaux d'or et portant: C/Antonius Maximus et T/Antonius Maximus. Les autres vol. mq.
Ces 2 vol., Cantus et Tenor, ont seuls survécu d'un ms. probablement en 4 livres. Copiés vraisemblablement par un scribe de la Vaticane entre 1532 et 1534, ils présentent beaucoup d'affinités avec les mss romains Rv 35-40 et RvatXII,4. Ils font partie maintenant de la collection du Prince Massimo à Rome.
