An attractive source of the Miracles of Gautier de Coincy, formerly at Soissons and in the Middle Ages belonged to the duke of Berry. It is written in a French Gothic script in 2 cols. Only one of the 37 songs is polyphonic, and this contains three-semibreve groups with the first semibreve a downward-tailed major one. The lower of the two parts is an ornamented version of Perotin's Beata viscera. Fol. A-B are slightly later than the corpus; fol. 244 is blank but of the same date as f. A-B.
