GautierR was brought to Russia by Dubrovsky ; before that, it belonged to the library of St. Corneille de Compiègne, whence it moved to the library of Baron de Crassier, which was sold at Liège in 1755. The only polyphonic piece is the usual De sainte Leochade, la virge on f. 137v-138 (see Gautier S). The square unmeasured black notes are written on 9 accolades of 2 red four-line (occasionally five- or three-line) staves.
