The main corpus is the Ars grammatica Prisciani Cesariensis, copied in a highly compressed minuscule scrip. Music, in score, is located on a rear flyleaf: the verso side is visible (upside down), but the recto, which also contains music, is stuck to the back cover [DIAMM note: images suggest the flyleaf is no longer stuck to the back cover]. Only a part of the two-part conductus Lux illuxit granosa novum ferens gaudium has been preserved, from [In] qua forma speciosus to David de fructu posu[it]. It is to be found in full in as W1 263. W. Meyer studied this MS during his Spanish visit in 1907, and made it known to Ludwig.

RISM B/IV 1: A 13th century parchment manuscript meas. 266 x 140 mm. and containing 123 folios. The main work in it is the Ars grammatica Prisciani Cesariensis, whose index appears on the verso of an old flyleaf preceding f. 1. The foliation is in modern pencil at t.r.r., but this does not include the two flyleaves. The highly compressed minuscule script employs initials in red-blue-white or just blue-white, while the binding is of leather over wooden boards. As so often, the music owes its preservation to its use as a flyleaf, this time at the back. The verso side is visible (upside down), but the recto, which also contains music, is stuck to the back cover. The notation is of Notre Dame type in score on 12 red five-line staves. Unfortunately, only a part of the two-part conductus Lux illuxit granosa novum ferens gaudium has been preserved, namely from [In] qua forma speciosus to David de fructu posu[it]. Luckily however it occurs in full as W1 263. W. Meyer studied this ms during his Spanish visit in 1907, and made it known to Ludwig.
