Summary: A 15thC collection of music treatises including Paolo and an abridged version of de Vitry's Ars Nova. The 3 unrelated music items on f.25v-27 include 2 French songs and a motet. Other textless fragments appear on f.16/16v.

RISM B/IV 4: 15. Jh.; 27 Blätter Papier + je 1 Vorsatz- und Nachstoßblatt, 280 x 213 mm. Moderne Foliierung von f. 1-27. Jede Seite mit 50 Linien vorliniert. - Einband: Modernes Kartonband mit Lederrücken.

Diese aus einem italienischen Kloster stammende Handschrift des 15. Jh. enthält musiktheoretische Traktate. Ab f. 25v finden sich Motetten und weltliche französische Lieder (siehe Incipitverzeichnis), die mit den Traktaten in keinem Zusammenhang stehen. Diese sind auf den vorlinierten Seiten in schwarzer und schwarz-hohler Mensuralnotation eingetragen. Auf f. 16r/v stehen textlose Fragmente und Federproben in schwarzer Mensuralnotation (im Incipitverzeichnis nicht aufgeführt).

Inhalt: f. 1r von jüngerer Hand (16. Jh.?) ohne Beziehung zu den folgenden Traktaten: Pietro Aron, Institutione harmonica. Libro latinos f. 1v zwei Choraltraktate; f. 17 Gaudentbrevitate moderni; f. 22 Ars ad discantandum contrapunctum secundum Magistrum Paulum de Florentia; f. 23vb Kurzfassung von Vitrys Liber musicalium.
