General Description

A single folio containing a single polyphonic Gloria, Kyrie and Sanctus from a Polish MS. c.1400. Formerly kept under the shelf mark, Fr. 12 at the Bibliothek des Musikwissenschaftlichen Seminars der Universität Lwow. It was found before 1909 in the binding of a 17th century print of Krakow origin.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 14./15. Jh.; 1 Blatt Pergament, ca. 270 x 365 mm (oben leicht beschnitten). Je Seite 13 Fünfliniensysteme mit schwarzer Mensuralnotation.

Dieses früher unter der Sign. Fr. 12 in der Bibliothek des Musikwissenschaftlichen Seminars der Universität Lwow aufbewahrte Fragment wurde vor 1909 in einem Einband eines Druckes des 17. Jh. krakauischer Herkunft gefunden. Das Blatt stammt aus einer um 1400 geschriebenen Handschrift.

[Translation] A folio containing a single polyphonic Gloria, Kyrie and Sanctus from a Polish ms. c.1400. It was discovered in the binding of a 17th century Krakow ms. early this century.

RISM B / IV, 4: 14-15. Century; 1 sheet parchment, approximately 270 x 365 mm (slightly trimmed). 13 5-line systems with black mensural notation.

This fragment was formerly kept under the shelf mark, Fr. 12 at the Bibliothek des Musikwissenschaftlichen Seminars der Universität Lwow. It was found before 1909 in the binding of a 17th century print of Krakow origin.
