Cantorale of 145 folios in total plus 3 flyleaves. Original foliation 1-144 at top left of verso face of leaf. 6 red 5-line staves per page. Modern parchment binding.
RISM B/IV 3: 15. Jh.; 145 Blätter Papier und Pergament gemischt + je 3 Vorsatz- und Nachstoßblätter, 215 x 142 mm. Alte Foliierung von f. 1-144: 1. Blatt ohne Foliierung (Register). Je Seite 6 rote Fünfliniensysteme mit schwarzer und, bei mehrstimmigen Stücken, weißer Mensuralnotation oder teilweise mensurierter Notation - Einband: modernes Pergament.
Dieses Cantorale des 15. Jh. stammt aus dem catalanischen Kloster St. Jerònim de la Murtra (Diözese Barcelona). Die mehrstimmige Stücke sind in der 2. Hälfte des 15. Jh. geschrieben, zeigen aber einen altertümlichen Stil.

[Translation] 145 leaves of paper and parchment plus 3 forepapers and an end paper, 215 x 142 mm. Old foliation on f. 1-144: 1 Sheet without foliation. The 6-per-page five-line staves contain red with black line systems and, in polyphonic pieces, white or partly mensural notation - Binding: modern parchment.
This Cantorale of the 15th Century comes from the catalan Monastery of St. Jeronim de la Murtra (diocese of Barcelona). The polyphonic pieces are from the 2nd Half of the 15th Century, but show an ancient style.
