General Description

Endpaper that has been lifted with a conjunct stub, showing signs of glue around the edges of the verso. The first piece on the recto begins Regina celi laetare. A space with some pen trials is followed by a single stave, also of four lines, but this time black hand-ruled, with the words [L]ux orta est sup[er] nos quia hodie natus est saluator All[elui]a written under square black unmeasured chant-type neumes in a different hand. A further space filled with pen trials is followed by a another stave of similar notation with smaller text written beneath that does not appear to be underlay. The remnants of a further single line with square white notation are visible at the bottom of the page extending a couple of inches from the left, with a hand-drawn five-line stave and underlay that is presently illegible. The verso seems more coherent, in the same hand as the square neume notation is on the recto. This on black four- and five-line staves and the text begins 'Stella celi'. There is possibly more than one part on the page; the lower portion of the page has been cropped on the left, removing any clefs.
