A Tenor I partbook from an incomplete set of four books. A collection of Christmas songs (Wehnachstlieder) (except the last), copied by several scribes over a number of years. One of the latest scribes was Georg Seydel, probably identical with the priest in Annaberg (1645-1675), implying perhaps that the books were there in the late 1660s.
Ownership inscription on inside front cover of the Altus I book, "Christianus Martini".
A1 - 52ff, T1 - 57ff, T2 - 18ff, B1 - 51ff.
The first 8 pieces (at least) probably date to c. 1600; the latest pieces (54 onwards) date to the 1660s (no.56 is dated 1667).
Original numbering of pieces in Tenor I, almost complete.
