General Description

A single parchment leaf which had been used as a cover for a 1518 printed edition of Theodorus Prodromus, De murum felisque bello. The musical fragment was recovered and given its own shelfmark in 2021 when its host volume was restored. The fragment has the Roman numeral foliation V at the top of its recto side and contains two known ballate by Landini, as well as the final part of an unknown polyphonic composition.

Discovered by Pasquale Spinelli, 2020.
