Offset from a former parchment cover which had been used for the 1674 parish registers for Bona, Nièvre, France. It preserves a fragment of what was presumably the uppermost voice of a French-texted fifteenth-century three-part polyphonic chanson. It was evidently part of the same chansonnier as a similar offset fragment from the same archive, found in 4 E 35/1. Discovered by Richard Dudas, September, 2021.
