Offset from a former parchment cover which had been used for the 1674 parish registers for Bona, Nièvre, France. It preserves a fragment of the uppermost voice of Binchois' Comme femme desconfortée (concordance identified by David Fallows). This fragment was evidently part of the same chansonnier as a similar offset fragment preserved in a different register from the same parish, and located in a different collection in the archives: 4 E 35/4. Discovered by Richard Dudas, September, 2021.
