General Description

A Bassus partbook consisting of the print RISM 1530/6, but with manuscript additions of an Altus part at the end (ff. [46'-53']). Paper in manuscript addition different from paper of print. Each piece in manuscript section copied by a different scribe. Probably copied in London. Second piece in manuscript section apparently refers to King Henry VIII.

Although printed portion contains bassus parts, manuscript additions are altus parts. Original foliation in printed section numbers first folio with music (= f.
