Several folios are missing (probably 2 at the start of the manuscript, 3 at the beginning of no. 20, and 1 in the middle of no. 26).

Covers of light brown blind-tooled leather over boards (similar to those of MM 2, MM 3, MM 7, MM 8, MM 9, MM 26, and MM 44), added when the manuscript was re-bound between 1937 and 1941; before this the manuscript had parchment covers.

Modern pencil foliation (predating 1941), 1–91; a folio between those numbered 69 and 70 has no number.

Various types of initials: some black calligraphic, some block red, some small but elaborate calligraphic in red.
