General Description

An Altus partbook from an incomplete set now of four volumes, each consisting of the prints RISM 1585/1, F724, F726, and L923, with manuscript additions. One main scribe and several additional scribes (including Friedrich Birck) copied #1-63; several other scribes copied the later portions of the manuscript. Copying begun at the Fürstenschule St. Afra in Meissen.
