General Description

Copied by a single scribe, except for last Magnificat (in BolSP 36 only), copied by second scribe, who also wrote ff. 99'-102 of BolSP 25. Copied and used at San Petronio in Bologna. The psalms and the first Magnificat are for two choirs, each of four parts; the second Magnificat is found only in MS A.XXXVI (ff. 38'-42) and is for a single choir of four parts.

2 Magnificats, 8 psalms = 10 Anonymous

45 (A.XXXVI) and 41 (A.XXXVII) paper folios, 508 x 387. Original foliation. No index. Large black inked calligraphic initials. The psalms and the first Magnificat are for two choirs, each of four parts; the second Magnificat is found only in MS A.XXXVI (ff. 38'-42) and is for a single choir of four parts.

Mid-16th century. Copied and used at San Petronio in Bologna.
