A Tenor partbook from a set of four volumes. The main scribe was Christoph Piperinus (see below), who also wrote portions of BasU F.X.5-9 and BasU F.X.22-4. Other scribes: (1) Basilius Amerbach, who also wrote portions of BasU F.X.22-4 and manuscript additions in BasU kk.IV.23-7; (2) Samuel Ubelinus; (3) Ludwig Iselin, who also wrote BasU F.X.25-6 and portions of BasU F.X.21 (KmetzH). Copied in Basel. Owned by Basilius Amerbach (1533-91), son of the humanist Bonifacius Amerbach (inscription 'Sum Basila Amer-bachii Basiliensis' at beginning of each book). Manuscript referred to in 1546 letter to Amerbach from his music teacher, Christoph Piperinus (d. 1565). Later owned by Ludwig Iselin, nephew of Basilius Amerbach. Acquired by present library from Amerbach-Iselin estate c. 1661.
